The Hiring Process

Choosing a wedding photographer is one of the most important part of your wedding day. Being sure that you will save the memories of this special day for your grand kids to see is priceless. As the saying goes “you get what you pay for” with me though, you get what you pay for and more : ).

For clients locally, I mean the Greater Toronto Area from Markham to Mississauga and Oakville, I first have an initial consultation with the wedding couple to establish their needs and come up with a quote together with the service details. Once this is finalized a contract is signed together with a 30% deposit the remaining to be paid the latest at the wedding day. Constant communication is important leading to the wedding day to finalize the schedule and come up with a shot list with the bride or groom.  This is very important as for me to fullfill the wedding couples wishes on how to document their wedding. KEEP this in mind and I just want to be honest with you, no matter how good the photographer is, they are only as good as what is presented to them, meaning, if your bedroom is messy when the bride is getting ready, then you’re going to have a photo of a bride getting ready in a messy room, in short the couple would have to do their share to get the best photos.

Once the wedding is over, I would need about 4 weeks to edit and color correct the photos to be ready for print in high resolution. An online gallery is available for some qualified clients. Designing a digital flush mount album is a process that usually takes around 4 months, may be longer depending on the design approvals.
