I call this style "Classic Boudoir", from great boudoir photographers, a distinct style of lighting, framing and composition has developed, this is the traditional style where the photos have softer lighting, subjects being shot from above, lying on there backs and camera settings that have a very narrow depth of field where the eyes are in focus. This style is timeless and it works, articles of clothing are usually robes, night gowns, lingeries sometimes topless. This style wants to evoke soft sensuality.
